Sara Rose is an artist with decades of experience from her background as a working professional in makeup artistry, body painting, digital design, tattooing, and mix medium artistry. She specializes is several designs of tattooing and due to her extensive education can create most styles. Sara has been know to curate safe spaces for creatives to perform and express themselves such has her last nonprofit called “The Space”. She currently curated and owns the first public tattoo shop on Lopez Island and the first female owned tattoo shop in the San Juan Islands.

Trevor has dreamt of being a professional artist since he was 6 years old and now feels beyond lucky to be Sara’s apprentice at Soot&Bone and pursuing his dreams. His favorite tattoo styles right now are American Traditional, Illustrative Black and Gray, Engraving/Woodcut, with a special interest in medieval and creature-like subjects, although he still hasn’t settled on a specialty. He plans to begin accepting tattoo appointments and walk-ins for all styles Summer 2025!
